The STRIDE Study   |   Strategies to Reduce Injuries and Develop Confidence in Elders

The STRIDE Study is part of a growing effort on the state and national levels to identify and reduce risk of falls.

We are working with local community providers, councils and elder services through outreach and with the help of our Local Patient Stakeholder Councils.

Falls Prevention Awareness Day

Date: Sept. 22, 2016

The 9th annual Falls Prevention Awareness Day (FPAD) will be observed on Sept. 22, 2016—the first day of fall. The event raises awareness about how to prevent fall-related injuries among older adults. The theme of this year’s event is  Ready, Steady, Balance: Prevent Falls in 2016.
